Flint Amsterdam

How do you translate a personal brand perception into a visual identity?

For Sophie at Flint Amsterdam, the brand was already there in spirit. Her clients felt it, rooted in her experience as an expat mom helping families move to a new city. The challenge? The brand already had a soul but it lacked a cohesive visual language to communicate its elegance and warmth to new clients.

The Strategy
The goal was to balance premium realty with personal attention and comfort.

Typography: We selected a typeface that feels stable yet feminine, mirroring the reliability, flexibility and understanding of the realtor. Mums go the extra mile!

Illustrative Accents: Rather than using the classic Amsterdam canal house and tulip as icons, we treated them as delicate accents and background elements. This added depth and heritage without cluttering the brand’s minimalist aesthetic.

Digital Integration: This visual language served as the guide for the website’s UI ensuring a seamless transition from print to digital. https://lnkd.in/eEMjmKcZ

The Holiday Card
A highlight of this collaboration was a bespoke holiday gift project. We took the brand’s signature canal house illustration and "dressed it" in twinkle lights and ornaments for client cards. It was a small detail that perfectly captured the brand’s mission: turning a house into a festive, lived-in home.

The Result
A brand identity that is as sophisticated as the Amsterdam houses and as welcoming as a neighbourhood friend.
